How long does it take to get my article approved?

Here at Article Alley we have over 90,000 active authors who are all submitting articles to us so due to the high volume of articles that are submitted on a daily basis it is taking us anything between 48 hours to 7 days for articles to be approved. I do assure you though all of the articles that we receive are approved and they are all approved by our in house team.

We will work as quickly as we can to get your articles approved after you have submitted them to us. However it should be noted that if you submit a large number of articles to us simultaneously they may not all be approved at the same time but they will all be approved within 48 hours to 7 days.

Can I edit my articles once I have submitted them?

In order to be able to edit your articles the articles need to be live within our database; they need to have been approved. You can't edit articles that are waiting for approval however.

If you do want to edit an article that has been submitted and has been approved then you simply select 'my articles' from the left hand panel of your author area and click search articles. You will then see all of the articles that you have written and that have been approved and next to the article you will have the option of being able to edit the article. You can edit as many articles as you wish and you can edit them more than once.

Can I use the content on Article Alley on my website?

One of the many benefits associated with Article Alley is the fact you can make use of the articles that appear within our database and best of all you can do this all for free. However you can only place articles from our database on your website if the author of the article has gave permission for you to do this.

You need to check that the article is free for you to use. The way in which you do this is you need to look at the bottom of the article to see if it states 'this article is free to republish.' You can only use the article if it clearly states this at the bottom. If you do decide to use the article then it is vital that you copy and paste the article in its entirety. This includes the links that appear at the bottom of the article in the author bio.

You can use as many articles as you wish on your website as there is no limit and all of the articles that you take from our database are free for you to use. You can take articles from any category in our database but just make sure that you check if the article is copyrighted or free to republish. The only time that you can't take an article from our database is if it is copyrighted.

How do I get my articles to perform better on Search Engines such as Google?

There are a few ways in which you can go about doing this so my advice to you is ensure that you use all of the methods that are available to you when it comes to getting your articles to perform better on search engines such as Google.

One example is you should make use of the bookmarking feature that is present on every page. What this will do is list your articles within the main social bookmarking sites on the Internet.

Another example of what you should be doing to get your articles to perform better within the search engines is to make use of your website or blog. The way to go about doing this is you should place a link within the articles you write that links back to your website and your blog pages. The reason that this is so important is because this will increase their prominence on the search engines and increase the exposure your work gets.

Some authors have their own biography others use the profile feature - what is the difference?

The main difference between the two is whether or not you need a unique author bio on every article or whether you want a standard author bio for every article that you produce.

In order to have the same author bio on every article you will need to complete your profile. This will then mean that the bio will appear on the footer of every article. You are also able to change your profile whenever you need to, which means if you need to create a new author bio you can easily do this.

If however you want to place a different author bio on every article you produce then you simply don't complete the author bio section on your profile. Instead you simply write a new bio every time you produce a new article.
