How to increase life of your LED TV

LED TVs are usually a costly investment and no one likes to invest in it very frequently. It is usually advisable to know the lifespan of your LED TV. But life span doesn’t means that the TV will die as soon as it reach that number. Practically this number is not so important because one day or the other it will become obsolete and most of the TV manufacturers do not even mention it. The number is just to know how long you can expect to enjoy optimum quality. This also depends on few factors and can be taken care of to enhance the life of the LED TV.

Humidity and Temperature:

It is not advisable to place your TV at a place where the temperature is too high or humid. This spoils the circuit within the TV and reduces its life.

Power connection:

If you face regular fluctuation in the power supply then connect your TV with the voltage stabilizer so that the flickering does not impact the life and quality of the TV.

Clean your TV:

It is equally important to keep your TV dust free to enjoy its long life. Clean it with soft and non-static material.

Sharp objects:

Moving sharp objects on the screen is totally restricted to avoid permanent problems on the screen.

The TV also emits heat. To keep it cool and protected ensure that the room is properly ventilated.

Adjust the settings:

The brighter the images, more will be the use of LEDs and less will be the life of the TV. Always play your TV on moderate colour and contrast setting to enjoy perfect image quality for longer life.

Turn off TV when not in use:

Some people tend to keep the TV on even if they are too busy to watch it. To get the most of your TV, it is necessary to give it some rest. Make moderate use of your TV for low electricity bills, healthy eyes and of course long life of the TV. Keep it unplugged if it is not in use for few days.
