Gatlinburg Tennessee the name alone brings back warm memories that I enjoy from traveling with my family. Many people travel to Gatlinburg on a yearly basis to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding mountains and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Some people do not even realize that such beauty can exist let alone be so close that it is within a days journey to most of the East Coast of America. With the Great Smoky Mountains National Park so close to Gatlinburg many people pass through Gatlinburg for just a drive to get into the park or totally by-pass the town on the scenic by-pass. Now if you do end up stopping in Gatlinburg while on vacation one thing that you will want to do is take a ride on the very relaxing ski lift.
Now if you have ever wanted to have one of the most breathtaking views possible you will enjoy taking a ride up the Gatlinburg ski lift. Even if you are scared of heights you will want to try to bear through this venture because it is such a lovely view and over look of the town. The best part is if you are scared of heights that you are only normally about ten feet off of the ground which is tolerable for most people.
You might even be asking if the cost of the parking combined with the cost of getting a ride on the Gatlinburg ski lift is even worth the cost, but I can tell you that it is. The view that you will gain from the top of the Gatlinburg ski lift is well worth the cost because it is such a breathtaking view. Now if you do have children that get antsy or impatient then the fun enjoyable ride that can be had from the Gatlinburg ski lift might not work for them.

If you are looking for one of the best places in my opinion to have a great relaxing vacation you will absolutely love Gatlinburg. I know that one of the best ways to relax when you are on your Gatlinburg vacation is to take a ride up the Gatlinburg ski lift. Then while you are taking your Gatlinburg ski lift ride you can enjoy the beauty that makes this one of the best vacation spots possible for anyone to enjoy.
