Forget cotton, electronic components are the new fabric of our lives. The technological revolution has created a surge in the use of electronic devices for everyday activities, from cooking, cleaning, working, eating, and any other daily activity. There are fundamental building blocks for electronic equipment. Some of these, essential to technology, are interconnecting electronic components.

Electrical connectors - How to get power from your homes electric supply to your television, laptop, or refrigerator? An electrical connector. They are a fundamental component of any home or building. Outlets, plugs, and sockets, come in a variety of styles and sizes to accommodate all types o electronic equipment.

Printed circuit boards - PCBs are an inexpensive, rugged, and reliable component used in most everyday electrical appliances. Printed refers to how pathways to conduct electricity are etched onto the circuit board. PCBs are typically manufactured using copper to create the chemical etching.

Breadboard - Breadboard is a re-useable device used for creating prototypes of electronic circuits and also in experimental design. Breadboard is a solder-less device allowing for more safety when experimenting with electronic components.

Point-to-point construction - Point to point construction is the type of construction used for connecting large electronic components or connecting only a few electronic components. With the use of soldering, point-to-point construction used to be the sole method for constructing electronic circuits. Point-to-point construction has been replaced with wire-wrap

Wire-wrap - Wire-wrap is a technique used to connect small numbers of complex electronic assemblies.
