RVs can take you almost anywhere you want to go, but once you get there, will you want to stay? While camping next to a highway might be fine for an overnight stop, a week of late-night boondocking at the closest Wal-Mart will leave you full of fumes and sleep-deprived. Remote campgrounds that offer scenery, not semis, are no guarantee either.
