Increase Web Site Traffic For Free

Every web owner knows that traffic is the lifeblood of a web site. Without traffic, your web site is like a shopping mall without visitors. In this article I want to share a method used mostly by the underground and mainstream Internet marketers to increase web site traffic for free.
Basically, there are two types of web traffic: PAID and FREE.
Example of paid traffic is pay-per-click advertising such as Google Adwords. You bid for the keywords you want to target and place ads using Adwords. Google will charge you everytime when someone click on your ads.
Free web traffic on the other hand can come from many sources. Some popular ones are online forum, article writing and web 2.0. All these are very effective ways to increase your web site traffic.
It is very easy to increase a small amount of free traffic to your web site but if you want to make lots of money, you need a way to get massive amount of targeted free traffic from the search engines. To do that, your web site need to appear on the first page of the SERP (or search engine result page). Those sites that appear on the first page of SERP are known as "organic search results". This is also known as the hot zone of the SERP.
Question now is how do you get your web site into the SERP's hot zone?
One way is through a process called Search Engine Optimization (SEO). This is the most common way to increase web site traffic for free. But SEO is a slow and painful process. It takes a lot of time and effort to optimize your site to appear in the hot zone. And you need to have a very good technical knowledge about the search engines and the web site mechanics.
Of course there is a much easier and faster way to get your sites into the hot zone. This method involves using an automated tool to create large amount of keyword targeted content pages. There are 3 major steps involved in this process.
1. Find a niche.
2. Create a list of long tail keywords.
3. Use automated tool to create keyword targeted content pages.
This method will bring massive amount of free web traffic to your site because many of the long tail keyword targeted pages will be sitting in the hot zone. This method is the fastest and most effective way to increase web site for free.
