Credit Card Companies have fierce competition nowadays, so there has never been a better time to get a great deal. Not only do many credit card companies offer a long term low interest rate, but many will give 0% on balance transfers from your current credit card.
Not everyone has outstanding debt on existing credit cards and are just looking for a credit card deal with a good APR and maybe the benefits that some credit card companies offer on point systems. In lamens terms, the aim is to build up points whenever you use your card to later be exchanged for goods, air miles, days out etc. This is a great way to get freebies, especially if you use your card a lot and great if you manage to clear your balance at the end of the month!
