The Affiliate Allstar - Another Internet Marketing Scam?

By: Lawrence | Posted: 25th July 2007

Since the introduction of Internet Marketing, there are perhaps hundreds or even thousands of e-books written by people who claims to be gurus and selling you some secret recipes that can earn you a fortune in days or even in hours! I am one of those frustrated ones who wish to make some extra cash but only manage to reach the point of disappointment after being scammed so many times. When I manage to get a hand on The Affiliate Allstar, you may already have guessed what my thought was - "Is this just another scam?". I can assure you that I am not going into my long "rags-to-riches" story here as I believe you have already came across similar stories like this many times, flooding all over the internet. What I want to give you here is my honest and sincere review of The Affiliate Allstar e-book written by Aaron Johnson, who claims to be a former janitor turned affiliate marketer.

To state a fact, when I first came across his website, Aaron does not give me the most impressive recommendation of his book. I have read many sites that can really make you believe that you can own the world, overnight perhaps. Nevertheless, I made a decision to purchase his book and risk flatten my wallet one more time before I give up on my pursuit to be a successful affiliate marketer. The outcome? I am NOT disappointed and am very glad that I made this decision right.

From the opening pages of The Affiliate Allstar, I find the contents page really neat and user friendly. You can access to any topic of interest by just clicking on the respective link. Not only that, while reading through, if you ever want to refer to any specific topic from any pages, there is a direct link back to the main content page. It saves you the trouble of scrolling through numerous pages just to look for one topic, pretty much designed with the readers in mind.

So what if it has a user friendly navigation function? After all, what the readers are interested is the actual contents of the book. Again I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

Aaron actually makes an effort of explaining all the basics of affiliate marketing as well as which products should you choose to promote before the competition does. Some strategies that he has described was never mentioned even by those self-claimed gurus. What is even more impressive is that his methods are not only powerful, some of them does not even cost you a single cent and does not require you to own any websites. They work surprisingly well and I highly recommend this e-book to those beginners of affiliate marketing who need some directions of where to start their learning cycle.

As you get familiar with the early chapters and are ready to chip in a few quid to boost your profit, subsequent topics focus mainly on the intermediate stages of affiliate marketing like creating your own website, selling advertising space for a profit, pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and some very simple and effective search engine optimizations (SEO) methods. As you can see, the book covers wide range of topics but everything is still explained in a very clear and step-by-step manner, perfect for both beginners and intermediate marketers.

There is an exception to this book that I may not recommend to the minor percentage of people out there. This book does not cover a lot on promoting physical products like those from Commission Junction and E-Bay. Do not buy this book if you're looking to sell products that require you to do packaging and deal with the shipment process. Personally I would not like to go through such hassles and still only earn a tiny bit of commissions off the products. Ultimately it is up to you to decide of course.

By the way, I want to add that the author does update quite regularly and you do not need to pay anything to get it. Yes absolutely FREE. The bonuses include some really good quality video tutorials and some useful e-books and software to help you along the way into your internet business. What's more, you can even try it risk-free for 8 weeks and if you're not satisfied, ask for a 100% refund! So why wait?
