Internet Marketing Ventures - The Role of The E-Course

It is not called an Information highway for nothing. The Internet is rich in information and most people who surf online are after products, information, services and a host of other things which can help improve their lives in many ways.

If you are a well-meaning Internet marketer who is eager to earn some from this huge market of possibilities, you must be able to learn the tips and tricks of the trade. One of the more famous techniques the best internet marketers use is the E-course.

The E-course is some sort of mini-course that is aimed to follow up on prospects in a more profound way. Why profound? Well, for one thing, it is a notch higher than weekly tips or Ezines. It is actually a course that your prospects subscribe to and follow. It is a series that they have to complete and can be done either in audio, text or video format.

Some people offer free mini-courses as a way to let the prospects have a taste of the better things that they could get with a paid subscription. Others give an excerpt or two from their products and divide it into chunks. These chunks are then emailed one by one at a regular interval.

Now, where does internet marketing come when you are giving away part of your material for free? The thing is, people who are genuinely interested in what you offer are more likely to want the complete package or a viable sequel to whatever you have given off for free.

Once you have convinced them that it is worth their time and effort, you can give them offers to buy the whole product at a discounted price or whatever way you deem appropriate for your target market.

Most people online like freebies, and a free learning course to precede a paid course is some sort of condition that will help you have your name and business established to your target market, build trust and confidence in your qualifications and skills (depending on the quality of the content of your mini-course), and this is something that prospects can easily refer to their friends and have it easily spread in their networks.

You get all that free publicity because of a freebie. And when you have your prospects hooked with your material, they will be more than willing to pay for the next portions of the text you sent them.

In this business, you got to give some of your stuff before people actually take the plunge to buy from you. Having a mini-course makes you more credible. It communicates to your prospects that what you are offering them is for real and they are not to be scammed.

Getting them to sign up for mini-course helps the prospects warm up to you more and will really help if you want to pursue a longtime career out of this one. Among many other things, your E-course must be very substantial. If at all possible, you choose one of the best parts of your products to give out in your mini-courses so that it will really generate positive response.
