WHAT IS A LOGO?

A Logo is defined as a Graphical Element, symbol, or icon that is placed in a unique typeface or is arranged in a particular way, as part of an advertising strategy.

Companies know that a logo is useful to distinguish a product or service from others, as well as they know that brands give special positions in customers´ minds. Also, many organizations use a logo to define graphically what they are. Of course, web sites Need Just The Same, so the main benefit of having a good logo is that clients, suppliers, users, affiliates, viewers and people in general will recognize it immediately in the marketplace. A good logo can help you to increase sales - and therefore, it is helpful to increase income to the owners.

A superb logo contains one or more emblems placed together in a non-textual content. In some cases, catch phrases are added in the logo to reinforce the main idea. The general trends in logo design are basically around to employ images (icons) in combination with the name of the company. Colors are also important in logo design - they impact in the viewers reinforcing senses (as soft, sweet, light, close) and feelings (like happiness, passion, security, love, etc).

A GOOD LOGO

A good logo design is made to bring a Quick Identification in customers´ mind, just only with a single view.
A good logo adds Extra Visibility to your company in the market.
A good logo supports the brand or Company Identity appropriately, especially if the designer catches the whole picture about the brand and the company's philosophy.
A good logo can be used By Any Organization; not only for corporations.

BRANDS AND LOGOS

A brand is a symbolic representation of the most important characteristics of a product. Brands show specific information that in the future will generate associations and expectations around it.
Frequently, a brand includes a LOGO, fonts, color schemes, symbols, and sounds, which may be developed to symbolize inner values and ideas. Therefore, a brand is one of The Most Valuable Intangible Investments for any organization; independently of the industry, dimension, off line/on line products, and other considerations.

BRANDING AND CONSUMERS

As a part of the pop culture trends, it is common that people associate a product or service with the company´s brand.
This situation has established what we actually know as Branding. The power of the brand for costumers is prior to purchase than products or services.

A brand image may be done by giving measurable attributes or "personality" to a brand in agreement with the concept or "image" of the product or service that is "Branded" into consumers´ minds.
Branding is not only for corporations; there are many small companies that become popular due to branding their product or services. Most of them have increased dramatically their sales and now, with more money in their pocket, they are thinking in growth.

A good logo helps to empower the brand, and brands support advertising efforts. In resume: The more branding - the more customers - the more income.
