Vacation on a Budget

By: Lukasavige | Posted: 07th November 2007

If you're trying to squeeze every dollar you have, but also trying to maintain your sanity this summer, there is good news... you can vacation very cheaply, and even bring the kids along.

If you're in survival mode and just fighting to keep food on the table and the lights on, then you may have to consider putting off a vacation until next year. After all, if you truly desire to get out of debt and you're willing to sacrifice to do so, then you will be rewarded with many more vacations in the years to come.

I don't know a kid anywhere that wouldn't love to have a tepee in his backyard. If you didn't realize that you may already have all the materials you need in your garage, then you need to check out Home Made Simple for the free instructions, as well as tips on low-cost and no-cost gear, food and fun.

If you'd like some general ideas on how to vacation frugally with the entire family, then this blog may be your answer. It is a compilation of inexpensive ways to spend time with your family.
