After five years of doing Internet marketing I feel qualified to talk about this subject. To make money online there are a five things you absolutely have to have.
In this article we will look at my make money online checklist to help you make more money on the Internet.
1. You really need a computer with high speed internet if at all possible. Time is money when it comes to making money online. If you are wasting time with a slow Internet connection, and an outdated computer, you need to do everything in your power to take care of that.
You will be amazed at how much can get done with high-speed Internet and a good quality computer. I would include in this getting a large monitor if possible because you will be spending a lot of time looking at.
2. Having a quality product is a reflection on you. It means everything to your business. Making money immediately is very important when you first start out, therefore the product that you sell is critical.
You also want a product you have a personal attachment to. Pre-selling has become extremely important on the Internet as website visitors sift through all of the options that your competitors are offering.
You want a product that you can make immediate income on, and that offers some sort of residual income as well. You will be setting yourself up for a very nice monthly income today, and down the road too, if you can find something that combines these two!
3. A website or landing page, and a blog of your own is imperative! One common mistake people who do affiliate marketing and network marketing make is they use the company replicated website.
It will be important to your business that you come up with a website or a landing page, and a blog of your own. A blog can help you attract visitors with social bookmarking as well as search engine traffic. Your landing page will be important in your follow up efforts for future sales.
4. Are you familiar with the term autoresponder? Here is one simple point you need to understand. Everyone who comes to your website is going to leave. Your goal is to capture as many names and email addresses as possible for future follow-up.
Having a quality list is a very important tool to creating long term income online. To make money online today, and tomorrow, you must put some of your efforts into building an email marketing list. Your autoresponder is the best way to do that!
5. Finally you must have an effective advertising campaign. Not getting enough visitors to their website is the number one reason people fail to make money online. Your goal is to find one method of marketing online that you enjoy, and then learn everything you can about it.
For immediate traffic you need to develop a pay per click advertising campaign. For long term residual traffic article marketing and forum marketing are two very effective methods that you will want to develop eventually as well.
Although this is not a very long article this is a make money online checklist you can use to pattern your Internet business after. Whether you want to make a couple hundred dollars a month more, or create a six figure income, you can do it online using these five tips.
