The Nokia N96 is coming, be afraid.

What is important in a mobile phone? Is it camera quality? Is it storage? Is it the ability to have your entire music catalogue with you wherever you go? What if you could have all these things in one device? You would probably think that is not possible. You would be wrong, the Nokia N96 is a multimedia handset making waves in the mobile phone industry right now and quite rightly so.
The N96 is set to be released later this year and will be the first handset to come complete with a built in digital TV tuner. This is a real step forward and gets us closer to a convergence society where internet, TV and music all integrate in effortless fashion. Soon you will be able to download video on your mobile and transfer to you TV as you walk through the door that time really isn't that far away.
The Nokia N96 comes complete with up to 24GB of storage, granted you would need a 8GB data card to reach this capacity, but it just shows how far we have come in a few short years regarding multimedia storage and playback capacities. If you were to have just video saved on your N96, you would be able to watch up to 60 hours of footage on your mobile phone.
The N96 is comes with WLAN and HSDPA. This will be particularly useful if Nokia launches its music platform similar to itunes in the near future. It will mean that tracks can be downloaded in record time, no waiting around for your tracks to download, simply select, download and play. The N96 has a planned release date of Q3 2008 and is expected to retail at around £350. Of course the more expensive contract holders will probably get it for free.
