America's Economic Emergency; The coming recession and what to do about it

Did you know that we may be heading for a recession? Every where you look the signs are there, unemployment at a 4 yr high, the markets hit historic lows, except for oil which is through the roof. Deficits, layoffs, bankruptcy, foreclosure all up.
What you don’t know is that the coming recession does not affect everyone. Hard to believe… well believe it.
In New York my home state, we are facing a deficit of $2.5 Billion (yes that is a B in front of that illion) for the 2009 fiscal year, they are going to raise the price of metro cards (again), and cut massive public services.
Now with all of this going on you would think that everyone would be in a state of financial panic, but that is not the case.
The Yankees and Mets are building new stadiums with a total tag of over $2 Billion (and again that is a B in front of that illion), Times Square is as crowded as ever with people shopping and going to shows, the luxury auto and goods market is up, the airports in the area are over capacity so people are traveling, and everywhere you look there is a crane, and crews building luxury properties.
You look at all of these factor and you ask Where’s the recession?
But you have to realize that the recession is not coming it is here and it is in front of your face if you are one of many working people.
For the majority their current state is..
Overworked and Underpaid, stuck on a treadmill going nowhere fast, in the rat race trying to get ahead or just plain sick and tired of being sick and tired.
Now how do you overcome that state or how do you slow down the recession?
Well usually there are only 2 ways to ease a recession, not the whole country’s recession but your own personal recession.
Choice one is to spend less, how to do that is anyone’s guess, because you have to drive, heat your home, buy groceries etc. so saving is not part of the program for many families.
So here is choice number 2 and this choice is available to any and all, start a home based business.
Okay gas, groceries etc. is eating up your money so how will start a home based business, answer, any way you can.
With a little research you will discover that there are many home based businesses can be started for very little capital and if it is a service business, or if it is a product that can be drop shipped then you don’t have to stock and the overhead can be kept at a minimum.
Now I know that this may sound like a big task, and you have a ton of objections, so let me go over some of the most common and then you do your own due diligence and see if this is something that you can do.
The thing you must ask yourself is this if not a home based business then what?
You could get a second job or work more hours at your current job, but most people are already stretched to the limit in work hours and taxes eat up most of the overtime you work.
And as we said earlier saving is not an option.
Here are some of the common objectives and what to do about them.
Time; everyone is stretched to the limit with time.
Solution: find a home based business that you can work part time.
Money; bills, gas, food, etc. who has money to start a business.
Solution: find a home based business that you can start and run with little capital.
There are many opportunities that you can get started with for less then $500 with unlimited potential and low overhead as little as $10 per month.
Knowledge: I am an employee, I do not know how to run a business.
Solution; Learn. That does not mean you need to go to Harvard, or Stamford and get an MBA. You need basic knowledge on how to run a business.
Between the library and the internet you can get the business mind of an MBA in far less time and for a much better bargain. The knowledge is out there you just have to go and get it.
Now that you have seen and settled your objections let me tell you about some of more positive side.
Extra income; Of course this is one of the best perks of a home based business. If you have extra income that you are not actually trading hours for you can use it for savings, paying down some bills or just to live a little.
Extra time; If you are making profits from your business then you can maybe cut down on the O.T. that you have been putting in and enjoy your life.
Tax incentives; A home based business gives you tax advantages that don’t apply to employees. I am no tax expert but I am a home based business expert and you can expect to save between $3,000 to $15,000 per year just for owning a home based business. And that equals more money in your pocket.
Now I am an advocate for the Network Marketing Industry, and most network marketing companies have the advantages that I spoke about and the diversity in Network marketing is amazing.

Oh and how do I know starting a business is a great way to beat the recession because the largest part of the population that remains virtually untouched by the recession is business owners.
