Meatloaf is an economical, nutricious, and delicious answer to the question "What's for dinner?"

You can use a basic meatloaf recipe with a variety of ground meats, and meat substitutes if desired.

For a change of pace try using ground chicken or ground turkey in your favorite meatloaf recipe. Don't be afraid to step outside of the box.

Even go as far as to substitute 16 oz. of canned tuna in your basic meatloaf recipe and serve with a topping of warm cheese sauce - it's delicious!

16 oz ground beef (or combination of ground beef and lean ground pork).
1 egg, slightly beaten.
3/4 cup bread crumbs, cracker crumbs, or raw oatmeal.
1/2 cup milk.
1/2 tsp salt.
1/8 tsp garlic.
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
