During the British International Motor Show which was held in London, the Saab brand has taken full advantage of this event so as to show off and bring the curtains down for its latest creation – the Saab 9-3 biopower convertible.
The Saab 9-3 biopower convertible comes as an ethanol-hybrid vehicle. It also comes mounted with a turbo engine that could take in two liters of fuel for added power. And making it all unique is that this engine has got three electric motors for an added spunk in performance and delivery. And when Saab showed off this vehicle, it made sure that it pointed out that two of the three electric engines that this vehicle held were actually found and mounted to the front wheels of the Saab 9-3 biopower convertible. As for the third engine, you may ask? It has been fitted in the vehicle's axle in the back.
Despite the fact that Saab did not also boast of Saab auto parts for this vehicle, the Saab 9-3 biopower convertible sure is a good looking one. And added with all the features, benefits, and technology that this vehicle has to offer, everything would look like a pretty good deal for such a futuristic convertible.
How fast can this convertible run? According to Saab, they have tried and tested the vehicle already and they noted that it can accelerate from a total zero up to 100 kilometers per hour in just 6.8 seconds. After all, this can be much attainable with its turbo engine that has the capacity to produce high amounts of power and energy.
If you are now itching to buy one of these Saab 9-3 biopower convertible, you would have to set your sights on another vehicle. You see, this exceptional convertible still is in its concept car stage. The company has still yet to decide whether to bring it to the next level.
