If you are reading this, chances are you already own a business or are looking to start one soon. In an age where nearly 90% of all businesses fail, launching a new one and becoming prosperous at it is truly the American dream. I am a successful business owner who is willing to share the secret of turning life's lemons into a national lemonade sensation!

On the road to success however, I experienced many a setback. In fact, it was a physical setback that provided the inspiration for me to start the business in the first place.

My name is Candy Tolentino and I’m sharing my story in hopes that it will inspire you to follow your dreams. If you too have been met with obstacles, have wanted to launch your own business, or maybe even both - there may just be an opportunity you hadn't realized that’s just waiting to be born out of your greatest difficulty! If you can solve a problem, YOU can create a successful business.

Yes, I’m here to tell you that it is truly possible to create something magical even out of the greatest adversity. You see I started my company in response to a health challenge I was having. Years later, not only has it blessed and enhanced my life, it has also positively affected thousands upon thousands of other people’s lives as well!

I’m also proud to say that my company is the first and only dessert company of its kind. We manufacture gourmet, gluten-free, dairy-free, raw cheesecakes and desserts. What's special about them is that they rival the taste of very unhealthy traditional desserts WITHOUT containing the unhealthy ingredients such as Trans fats, refined flour, refined sugar, gluten, etc.! I was obsessed with the idea of making a decadent dessert comprised of ingredients that are actually trim the waistline while being GOOD for the body!

It all started out of my desire to digest a meal. Years of living on fast food and other processed, empty food had finally taken its toll on my system and I was sick, weak, and suffering from low energy nearly all of the time. I finally came to a place where I was "sick and tired of being sick and tired" and I decided to make a radical change. (I was literally suffering from daily migraines, sore throats, exhaustion and feeling almost 100 years old at age 25!)

At the same time, I didn’t want to compromise on taste, in order to partake of healthy food. This was a PROBLEM. I mourned my condition for a while, yet feeling bloated, tired and achy all the time was sapping the life out of me. I had to make a change, yet I lamented the fact I couldn't find satisfying foods, that also wouldn’t contribute to my deteriorating health. Also, eating out was a particular challenge. Even once I decided to adopt a new, healthier lifestyle, finding these foods at stores or restaurants was like finding a needle in a haystack. Then bingo, my business was born.

The old saying about making lemonade out of lemons was in full play. I not only made lemonade, but opportunity out of my lemons. I figured if I had a demand for better tasting healthier food, other people must too, and viola, the healthy desserts were in great demand and the business became a hit from day one.

I learned how valuable being able to solve a problem, especially a problem that has a wide application, can be!

So what problem can YOU solve that can be turned into a vibrant business that can enhance countless people’s lives? The world is waiting for you. In my case, I have the fortune to sweeten many a person's day, while putting beneficial ingredients into her body, in the process.
