Easy-to-operate, reliable and economical, the Norwood® LumberLite™ 24 mid-sized band sawmill is perfect for the hobbyist, part-time sawyer, wood-worker or estate owner.

With the Norwood® LumberLite™, you can -Mill hardwood or softwood logs up to 24" (60cm) in diameter,
Cut boards and beams up to 17" (42.5cm) wide accurately to 1/16th of an inch; and Shave veneer as thin as 1/16th of an inch.

The Norwood® LumberLite™ is a basic, no-nonsense personal sawmill that will work by your side to produce quality lumber for years. Like its big brother, the Norwood® LumberMate™ 2000, the LumberLite™ is an all-manual sawmill. The result? - Quality lumber. As you advance the blade through the cut, you can feel knots and denser wood so you can adjust the feed speed to make perfect cuts.

Give the lumber yard a pass and save your money. Cut your own boards and beams when you want how you want - 2x4s, 4x4s, 6x6s, 2x10s, or any specialty size or dimension.

With the Norwood® PortaMill™, you use your chainsaw as the sawhead and your household ladder as the track. Mill logs up to 14" in diameter, and as long as your ladder permits. Here's how -

Clamp your log in place - Position the log rests and lock the adjustable log dog.
Choose your cutting depth - Turn the crank handle to raise or lower the chainsaw.
Make your cut - Engage the throttle at the push handle and advance the saw along the track.
You probably already have chainsaw and ladder sitting in your garage right now. What projects could you do if you had your own sawmill?

For small to mid-sized logs (below 10 inches (25cm) in diameter), chainsaws of 50cc or greater, equipped with ripping chain, are usually sufficient. For mid-sized to larger logs (10 - 14 inches (25cm - 35cm) in diameter), chainsaws of 65cc or greater, equipped with ripping chain, are recommended.
