Reacting to the indictment of Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, Congressman Mark Kirk renewed his call for comprehensive ethics reform to kill the pension of any Member of Congress convicted of a public integrity felony.

Earlier this Congress, Kirk introduced a bill to do exactly that, but the Democrat-led House passed a scaled back version of Kirk's bill that only included a handful of felonies.
