STORY
The episode begins with Nathan confronting Lucas about his depression and how it is beginning to ruin his life. Lucas goes on to admit that he hasn't accepted her death and he just can't believe it. Then after thinking about that night, he adds that she was suppose to come back to him at the airport after she went back to get something. However, Lucas doesn't know that she really went back to see Dean. Nathan tells Lucas that he needs to move on.
Peyton is dreaming about the secret she knows, when she walks up abruptly, realizing how significant the secret really is. To clear her mind, she visits Sid's grave to hopefully get some sign of what she should do about their secret, she gets the sign she asked for.
Noticing her son has been upset, Haley takes Jamie out and begins to explain things about Sid and Dean. Working on a case close by, Dean notices the two and can't help but become curious to what they're doing, however, he never approaches them. He then notices Peyton, who started walking up to Dean but stopped mid-way.
Back at his motel, Dean begins to feel sharp pains in his chest and doubles over as blood begins to pour from his mouth. It's almost as if someone had shot him in the chest. He then remembers the night that has been consuming him as he chokes on his own blood. However it ends up just being a nightmare and Dean goes into the bathroom to splash some water on his face.
Haley is surprised to see Dean at her door, who is horribly trying to ask if there was anyway he could become close to Jamie like Sid had. She knows how Jamie has suddenly gained hated feelings towards Dean, so when Jamie comes out from his room he makes it clear he wants nothing to do with Dean. Not wanting to upset Jamie anymore, Haley closes the door on Dean and goes after her son while Dean looks away hurt.
Brooke tries to comfort Lucas by pointing out their similarities these days and that without each other it would have been hard for either of them to overcome it. She then expresses that Lucas means a lot to her, and he returns the favor.
Jasmine is on the phone with Tyler, who is pressuring her into telling him what she exactly knows about Sid and Caleb. Jasmine assures she knows nothing, but Tyler doesn't believe her. Peyton over hears Tyler's conversation in her car, curious to know if he knows as she does.
We then see an alive Sid approached by a familiar face from an earlier episode. Sid who is running her coffee shop still offers her service, but is weary when the woman asks about specific guys, however she still offers her help. The women then turns around to lock the door. It's then revealed to be a vision of Sam's, that leaves him confused.
Uplifted by Brooke's comforting, he visits her at the Sid's coffee shop where Brooke is remodeling it as Sid had always wanted it. Lucas realizes that Brooke has an alluring personality, and there may actually be something there for them.
A distraught Peyton burns something.
An upset Sam confronts his dad about the demon and other demons and what they would want. John tells his sons that he is unsure and that he has already been a little too late to do anything, including saving Sid like he had intended. Confident, Dean wants to find where this demon is.
