FLEXIBILITY and FREEDOM
The combination of communications-, GPS and database technologies will ensure a real-time system with valid data, giving the users a high degree of flexibility and freedom.
SAFETY and PROTECTION
By utilizing known technologies to register a positive ID on vehicle, driver, passenger, position and route, the system will provide personal safety as the system knows who is driving with who and where they are on a given time. Any fare is paid without cash, based on preset rates such as distance, zones or duration and the system can alert if the route is diverted, not completed correctly, or by unauthorized vehicle or passenger movement.
Users are registered in the system with contact information, picture for identification, favorite routes, and other options.
PICK-UP AREAS
Existing big- or newly established Pick-up areas along major roads, can be equipped with Near Field Communication Technology (NFC)- or Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) equipment for automatic registration of vehicles and passengers, as well as equipped with information screens and payment terminals to enhance the system, although this is not needed for the basic functionality of the system.
KNOWN PROFILES
Participants must accept the system terms of service and can only register with validated data.
Users can select driver, car or passenger based on their profile in the system or allow all users.
The profile parameters can be:
