Yea this is my updated video, I didnt really change anything, I was just bored if you got questions send me your email address, Im probably going to get the after-market Talisman fans for my 360 eventually. And i also recommend taking the metal cover off your 360 in improve air flow, you just gotta be careful of dust and spills.
Update: Faq
Ive been getting alot of the same questions lately, ill try to answer some of them now.
1. Fans: I got these fans from radioshack aka thesource in canada, you can also get them at your local computer store
2. Shorting your Adapter: You have to know a little electricity knowledge guys, make sure your switch has a ground, if your adapter gets really hot in 10-15min, you wired it wrong you you gotta redo it
3.Hiding the Wires: I hot glued them to the back of the case, I've played Mass Effect for over 5hrs straight so theres no risk if you do it right and let it dry in place
4. Making the Hole: Well you gotta use your imagination, but make sure you don't put to much pressure on the case or it'll break, I made 4 large holes with a screw driver, then used a small electric hand saw to cut it out, after that i just filed the edges
5. Opening: This will void your warranty, theres tons of tutorials on how to open the 360
I'm also going to note some criticism about the mod, this is the ideal cooling location for the fans right about the cpu heat sink, people that think they can get pass it by getting a intercooler, or placing fans above the 360 somewhere are wrong, my mod removes the metal sheet so it improves air circulation and gives the dual fans direct access to the 360 main heat source.
Peace out, play cool lol
