Facts About the Mission:
Hard Difficulty
Fast Game Speed
No Cheats
No Goblin Land Mines
Enemies attack with 2-5 more units on hard.
There are 3 attacks on hard for every 2 attacks on normal.
Enemy heroes are level 8+
Enemy Units Train a lot faster.
Enemies are more likely to attack simultaneously.
A LOT more units attack on the final assault.

What units to get?
I recommend abominations and crypt fiends although any land unit is fine. Whatever you do, don't get air units, especially frost wrymms! They're very bad for their cost and the enemy usually focus fires on air units. Furthermore, air units cannot block siege tanks, which means that you'll lose LOTS of gold making and repairing your towers.
Necromancers and banshees can be effective if you use them properly, however enemy priests and sorceresses can counter with dispel and polymorph.
Meat Wagons are a good investment. They are a high priority target in hard mode, which means you can lead your enemies through a maze of towers without worrying about your ground units.
