Baton Rouge has deployed Federal Signal ALPR from PIPS in an effort to combat crime associated with vehicle theft. Baton Rouge suffers from the second highest auto insurance premiums in the country, and hopes to drive down these premiums by improving stolen vehicle recovery and ultimately deter vehicle theft.
