Are you a victim of Galvanic Corrosion on a Volvo-Penta lower unit Outdrive? Is your paint bubbling and peeling off? Saltwater getting under the intact paint?

This plaintiff's 2006 Chapparal boat is meticulously maintained, kept on a lift, and has only 75 hours on the motor.

This video shows still of moderate to severe galvanic corrosion on a nearly new, lift-kept, 2006 Volvo-Penta SX lower unit outdrive on a Chapparal Sunesta 216 boat. All zinc anodes are in-place.

The Chapparal dealer acknowledged that this is a defective paint bonding issue from the factory. Both Chapparal and Volvo-Penta now say that the two-year warranty period has expired and the owner is now soley responsible for the repairs.

If you are a boat owner with a similar problem, contact me to join a class-action lawsuit against Volvo-Penta. There is no cost to the consumer for joining the lawsuit. The lawyer will use a no-recovery, no-fee payment method so there are absolutely no upfront costs to the consumers.
