Matt confesses to Maxie about how he lost a patient with a heart condition and traced back the drug ring to Port Charles and how he earned the fellowship on his own and explained how easy it was for him to make it look like he was turning to get fake drugs so that way he could pay off school loans Maxie doesn't believe him at first and then he goes into more detail about it and she says she'll keep his secret because she can feel for the person with the heart condition, Jerry overhears the whole conversation between the two.
