Lot S89 1969 Chevrolet Corvette 427 435 HP 4-Speed

Bookmark and Share
This beautifully restored 1969 Stingray is powered by its original 435 horsepower 427 L71 mated to a close-ratio Muncie four speed. Packed with forged innards, a radical solid-lifter cam and the famous Tri-Power Holley carb setup, this is a potent unit that, given its fairly hefty $437.10 price tag, was a surprisingly popular option.

Originally from Waco, Texas, the car has been very well cared for by only three owners since day one. The desirable Le Mans Blue with Blue interior color scheme is complimented with a generous option list. Power steering and four-wheel disc brakes are valuable aids in big-block territory, and power windows, Soft Ray tinted glass, tilt/telescopic steering column and leather seats make for one of the best sports-car cockpits of its time.

A frame-off restoration using only the best components has resulted in a powerful and beautiful machine that demonstrates the best of that era's Corvette brand.
