This is how we salvaged our Saturday. We started out at Jeepfest 08 in New Castle, PA. It turned out to be a car show for Jeeps. Everyone was standing around wiping dust off their Jeeps and voting on the prettiest Jeep for a trophy. They wouldn't let us run our big Jeeps on the little obstacle course. We got bored and bailed out. Wellsville/Yellow Creek is close enough so we went there. We picked up a couple stragglers along the way that didn't like Jeepfest either. We had Heather's Power Wheels Jeep with us for the Jeepfest so we got it out and let the kids get some "wheel" time in. It did really good, the battery never shows any signs of fading after riding around Jeepfest for an hour AND an hour of offroading. Her Power Wheels Jeep is modified so it can handle some mild offroad adventures. Those include traction enhancing devices and long life/high output batteries.
