ok so you might be woundering why the e brake is so important on a two wheel drive car. well easy. back in 2007 companys started testing out using the e brake for on two wheel drive cars that will lock up all four tires when applied. in 2008 a couple companys put these on cars and they making their way into 2009 even more now. still hocking up a car on a dynamic towtruck should never take more then 40 seconds at the most. remember get the paper work done as much as you can first. unlock the car and prep it. take pictures. this part only takes a minute. this will ensure that when your ready to get the car its only a few seconds to get. in my state you have to call the police first in a couple counties take pics and have pap work done first. thats the only reason why it now take just a little longer. this is a way for the driver of the car to come out and settle things plyus fix them before they get towed and they get off with a much reduced drop fee. in driing a tow truck if you get more then 5 of these a year your doing something wrong. unless in a giant city. remember prep everything first and things will go with the quickness. plus added bonus. you can call the police first and tell them your about to get a car. dont forget vin make modle color where and badge number plus reason. and if you cant get the car a couple seconds later because the owner is leaving now. call the police back and let them know that you couldnt get the car. this hgas only happend to me twice. but you have to follow the law if you want to make that money in a legal way right. yeah it slows you down. but covers your butt. and if you can keep a video camera on your town truck as well. even better when the people say you messed this up or i didnt park there. a quick walk around of the car tells it all. i had one complaint agenst me. when i showed up in court with the video tape and the owner of my company. the person i cant tell was locked up for filing a false poice report as well as insurance fraud. remember if you cant do the job right dont do it at all. this is some good advice for some of you out there just starting. i had a lot of people ask me my secrets to make things go faster. well here you have. dont forget to scout. its a big part and you have to have a great memory when doing this too. carry a note pad and if you forget you have it all on tape with the cam corder. when i started it use to take me five minutes. now it takes 40 seconds. other drivers wont like im telling you these things. but hay even i had to learn from some one too. and there are my added tips in there as well to help you get faster on the tow truck. and fellas please for the love of god strap the dang car to your life before you take off with it. its the law and i have seen cars come off lifts before from other drivers. you people should never even be allowed on a tow truck in the first place if you cant take care of the car your hauling. ok well thats it. if you cant fiure out whats going on you have to watch all twelve parts to this little 3am drive series. i kept them short for you. until next time take it easy.
