More Information- CCleaner (formerly Crap Cleaner) is a freeware utility program used to optimize a user's computer and clean their registry. CCleaner allows the user to remove any unused temporary files from internet browsers and other supported applications along with their browsing history, cookies, and AutoComplete from the computer's history. It also allows for the cleaning and emptying of the recycle bin, memory dumps, file fragments, log files, system caches, application data, and various other data. This program also includes a "Registry Cleaner" that locates and corrects problems in the Windows XP Registry (Such as missing shared DLLs, unused file extensions and application paths).
