Believe it or not, this video is the first "Yu-Gi-Oh! Online 2" to be uploaded to YouTube. This video is sample of how Yu-Gi-Oh! Online 2 would look like. (For those who didn't download or hate the new version.) The video was taken during the beta test.
You are able to download the game for free but, you have to buy DUELPASS to continue to duel.
【What is a DUELPASS?】
- DUELPASS is required in order for you to continue dueling. Duel Points is needed in the game.
- When you register to create your username and password, you will get 10 free Duel Points. Thats about it.
【Where can I get it?】
- You can buy it from the official website (look below), or buy a USB DUELPASS Key (only in the U.S., also it looks like a Flash Drive)
- Cost about $15 for 150 Duel Points.
- Outside of America and Canada, you can actually buy a DUELPASS in your electronic game stores. For America and Canada, we have to get them from online with a Credit Card.
- Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE now allows you to pay with PayPal.
【How much Duel Point does it cost to duel?】
- Every duel you challenge will cost 1 Duel Point. (Against Player, NPC, Event and Tournament)
- If you play in a Match, you will pay 3 Duel Points. If you able to win first and second round, 2 points instead.
- One last thing, if you are losing badly and your the person who would disconnect or exit because of that, you will still lose that Duel Point. No point doing that.
【Can you upload your own cards?】
- No, you cannot. They don't call Trading Card Game for nothing.
【How do you get more cards?】
- Depending if you duel on Single or Match, you win 1-3 cards (even if you lose). Also Events and Tournaments open up to get rare cards.
- If you enter your very first DUELPASS into your account, you will gain bonus cards and a strong Starter Deck depending on the DUELPASS you used.

Due to a recent increase of criminal activity within the Yu-Gi-Oh! ONLINE community we would like to advise the following.
- Scammers want to get your user ID and password by promising you free DUELPASS Points through illegal DUELPASS Creator programs or by offering cards or cheats.
There is no program which can generate valid DUELPASS Points. They only want your user data.
- Never give out your user ID, your password or your Inquiry Key.
- DUELPASS Point trading is considered as RMT. If a player steals a card during DP trading, the lost cards will not be restituted. This also extents to cards lost due to hacked accounts.
