2,000,000,000 MPH in a Toyota GT1

Bookmark and Share
This is what you get when 2 creative people meet each other.

So, my friend and I were just playing around in Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec on his PS2. We used his GameShark to be able to fly, and also we used a glitch where you tune the gear ratios and other parts of the engine to get the Toyota GT1 racecar to go extremely fast.

We mixed the 2. Here are the results.

Here is how to get the Toyota GT1 to go so fast.

1.Equip the highest possible turbo or NA tune stage possible.
2.Decrease spring rate to smallest possible value on both front and rear.
3.Decrease ride height to smallest possible value on both front and rear.
4.Set gear ratio's auto setting to highest possible level.
5.Set gear ratio's final gear to about 3.000
6.Decrease front downforce to the lowest and increase rear downforce to the highest possible value.
7.Set ASM and TCS to level 0

Now, go onto the Test Course. Start driving, and as shown, you should start out accelerating slowly. But after around 170 MPH you will accelerate faster and faster, eventually hitting about 530 MPH by the first corner, and on the second corner you should hit just over 1600 MPH before slowing down from the wall.
If you are lazy, once you reach about 400 MPH you can just set the controller down and the RPM's are so high the car will accelerate on its own without throttle.
Anyway, save this tune setting to a memory card. Now, reset the PS2. Put in your GameShark 2. Now, find Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec. Turn on the "Jump" cheat. Then go back to the main menu and choose start game. When the disk tray opens, place Gran Turismo 3 into the tray and close it.
Go to Simulation Mode. After you are in Simulation Mode, get into your Toyota GT1. Go to the Endurance Races, and find any race on the Test Course. Enter it. Now, just drive through the first corner, through the tunnel on the opposite side of the course, and once you reach around 800-900 MPH, press L2 while holding down X to fly. Keep flying until you collide with the invisible wall. You should hit it and shake around like crazy. Something along the lines of what happened to us will occur.
Your PS2 will freeze up. You can't do anything besides reset it with the button on the console.

There are other ways to do this without a GameShark that other people have posted on YouTube. Experiment, and try to set a new record! Our record is:

2,147,483,647 MPH

And we encourage glitchers to try and beat that.

Lastly, please subscribe because we will be having more glitches and secrets from many games in the future. We are going for a new glitch a day but some days we cannot put up a new glitch because of school.

Suggest games to us and we will attempt to glitch them! We would be happy to glitch games for your pleasure!
