A new gun law has been proposed by Illinois State Representative Kenneth Dunkin that would required gun owners to carry insurance of $1 million. This would be like saying you need to have an insurance policy for your freedom of speech because you might yell "fire" and have people killed in a stampede. That this is even proposed is preposterous.
If you look, FBI statistics consistently show that strong-arm, knife and other means are involved in more crimes than guns.
