News Corporation Chairman Rupert Murdoch compares social networking websites MySpace (owned by News Corp) and Facebook, arguing that the two sites are different enough that they are not necessarily targeting the same audience.

Media mogul Rupert Murdoch warned that "technology will continue to destroy all of the old ways and old assumptions, especially in the media" during an April 2 speech on "Creative Destruction: News for the 21st Century."
