Huge h/t to Drudge for this one. Someone asked earlier if I had the video, and I didnt think I did. That is, until I checked the DVR. I forgot last night that I set it to record all the Sunday morning talk shows today, and lo and behold, Nanny Pelosis appearance on This Week with George Stephanopoulos was one of them.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Hundreds of millions of dollars to expand family planning services. How is that stimulus?

PELOSI: Well, the family planning services reduce cost. They reduce cost. The states are in terrible fiscal budget crises now and part of what we do for childrens health, education and some of those elements are to help the states meet their financial needs. One of those - one of the initiatives you mentioned, the contraception, will reduce costs to the states and to the federal government.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So no apologies for that?

PELOSI: No apologies. No. we have to deal with the consequences of the downturn in our economy.

Yeah, Nancy thats EXACTLY how to get our economy moving forward! Lets fund abortions, condoms, morning-after pills, and all other sorts of fun stuff that allows young people to shirk their duties as responsible young adults. YAY! For all you tax-payers out there who dont suckle at the teat of the government, BOHICA, because youre going to be footing the bill for all of this social recklessness and lack of morality.

So sadso very very sad. This is truly America in peril - and worst of all, it will be funded by our tax dollars. They should be ashamed, but as history shows, they wont be, and I truly dont think they even have the capacity to feel shame.
