Private Dancer PANIC PRODUCTIONS:

Bookmark and Share
Premiere City Theater Reykjavik October 2008

By Jared Gradinger, Margret Sara Gudjonsdottir, Sveinbjorg Thorhallsdottir, David Kiers

Private dancer is a multi-layered waking nightmare where our deepest fears and nervous anxieties are pulled from under the sheets and left twitching in the light, bathed in cold sweat.

A disturbing yet humorous ménage-a-trois of horror movie, Freudian analysis and variety show, exploring how cultural language bleeds into our subconscious, lending form to the dialect of the Id. It reveals what happens when there are no means of escaping our absurd mental theatre, when it flickers to life to perform our own private dance.

Private Dancer ushers you on a journey into the deepest corners of your mind, only to leave you stranded, all alone in the dark.
