Was cozy with approx 30 pro GoldSprings investors there: Merriman staff, another bank investor - a person who introduced themself as having 6 mil sh (I think that was there personal holdings, a sharp, smart, bright, young, intelligent person, and I do not think that person's holdings represents the bank holdings, the bank has a major office in LA. All directors were there. All have very different temperaments, all well seasoned veteran investors, all ebullient for GoldSpring, all made efforts to first introduce themselves to the crowd one to one was we mingled in the lobby 15 minutes before and afterwards.
Many of GoldSpring Engineering staff in attendance. GS Geologist gave Johanna and I a private 1-1/2 talk about the specific mining engineering and geology at Comstock and general mining business history in last few decades. I really wanted to speak with him another 3 hours. What is second nature to him, is not to most of us, so I asked Dennis to post that technical info as a report on the Goldspring website. Golden interjected that they have several illustrations and text that they could put on the internet.

Virgina City and Goldhill is worth a visit just for the history - recommend on a 3-day weekend that could start with an evening in Reno, NV, 45 miles, 1-1/4 hours to the northwest, but you will want to stop for expansive views of the Carson Valley high above at the top of Geiger Grade and then look westward to the huge wall of blue hued Sierra Mountains, the foundation for Lake Tahoe beyond, one of the most beautiful places in the USA, another 3-day weekend resort worth numerous return trips, approx 2 hours west of the Comstock, by two different routes.
