The new A3's sporty and elegant design is selling well. The Carver One is a mixture of sport plane and motorcycle, trike and Messerschmidt. Can high-tech internal combustion models keep up with hybrid cars? In our test this week, the hybrid Lexus GS 450h faced off with the BMW 530i.
