President Obama and Congress battle over the handling of the $825 billion tax stimulus. House of Representatives have passed the bill on a straight partisan vote. Democrats have 244 for it with 11 voting against and Republicans have zero voting for it and 188 voting against it with one not voting at all.
Unemployment is at 7.5%. Circuit City is the first major causality to the 2009 year. Target, GM, Best Buy, Sun Systems, Caterpillar, Harley Davidson, Ford, Chrysler, Microsoft, Nextel, AT&T and many others are shedding jobs. China, Japan and Russia blame the United States for the economic recession.
Oh, I forgot, the dumb conservatives thinks this is the fault of Democratic Presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, Democratic Representative Barney Frank and Democratic Senator Chris Dodd. Hell, why don't we label this the "Obama Recession" as GOP Pimp Rush Limbaugh calls it! Hold on, didn't former President Bush sign laws that favored Republicans with pork barrel spending?
I meant what I say when this come forth, so do your worse:
"The Republican Party is whores for Rush Limbaugh! They ride for their pimp! The feed off on him, they get pimp-slapped by him, and know how to a blow for the pimp!"
This party is not of ideas! It's about following an overpaid hyper-partisan college dropout who spends hours railing on others for ratings. They take not only Limbaugh talking points, but Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Fox News and Drudge Report insanity points too! This is not the Republican Party of 1995. The party that stood for something! I am lightweight disappointed in the party!
Look here, we have an economic crisis, and the leadership from Congress has once again failed us by voting strictly partisan. President Obama had tried to reach out to Republican leaders, but to no avail. Due to the hyper-partisan attitudes of some in the "DUMB Right" and those intellectual conservatives who strongly oppose the "pork barrel" spending, the Obama tax stimulus will probably be held up for months before a compromise is to be met.
Uh, it's like a freaking see saw! Headache medicine needed for those who struggle to keep a job.
Heard of Interstate 69? Just in case, I forget, Interstate 69 [aka NAFTA Highway] will be built soon and will continue from Indianapolis to Brownsville, Texas. Already there's segments in Mississippi and Kentucky. The highway is controversial for it linking from Port Huron, Michigan to Brownsville, Texas. Let's just say it goes from Canada to Mexico.
