the place really angers me ...i have the feeling im getting riped off EVERY time i go in there...even just to look around i get that sleazy used car sales man feeling....i have been screwed by them before...a while back i put a game on HOLD..i was the first on the list and when the game was released i went to go pick it up and they told me THEY HAD TO SELL IT!!!! WTF IS THAT CRAP!!? they said because they only got a limited shipment so it was first come first serve....WTF i was on the friggen list....how about calling me to tell me to come get it..they didnt do that...i was pissed...i think those ppl there also try to sell you unnecessary accessories ..i just want to buy a damn game and not get harassed to buy all this other crap along with it ....NO means NO bro...whats with this place and these ppl? or is it just the one im my area??
i wouldnt give them my money to hold a game if my life depended on it....they'd probably lose it..."what money?"....the guy never told me i had to give him $ to ensure id get the game..thats rediculous....i took the time to fill out the form, that should be enough...now call me when it arrives so i can go pick it up..how hard it that?
what a bunch of jag-asses i cant believe they REALLY play the hell out of new games and just put the wrapper back on and sell as new...WTF is this???!!! if i wanted a god damn used game id BUY ONE...man im never going back there...one time at the GameStop by me there was a brand new PS2 or something on the counter and some kid grabbed it and ran out the door HAHAHA!! good...im sure not all of them suck but the one by me seems like it does that crap...young kids just dicking around in the store not really working trying to get you to subscribe to all this other crap and buy extra stuff......get the hell out of my face!..someone should report these dickheads
i understand these ppl are doing their jobs..and when they ask me if i am interested in whatever it is i simply say "no thanks" and then 90% of the time i get a "well why not" or some more bullcrap...and i am nice and say no thanks not interested...and i get really annoyed by it...when i leave the store i just have this pissed off angry feeling like the guy didnt understand the no thanks...i mean cmon..it happened to me at a best buy also...guy at the counter trying me to get a warranty on my xbox...i said no thanks ...the guy wouldnt shut up i said no thanks again...he took my credit card and asked me again...now i was beginning to get frustrated ..then the lady behind me said " maybe u should get the store warranty"...then the clerk said it again!!!!!!! ...i simply said no thanks...by now i was really ANGRY...but didnt say anything...seriously some of these ppl can really give a store a neg. appeal...what in the F**k are they doing..i said no thanks once..what more do i have to do
as for the bastards who open new games and then repackage...if i ever caught a jagass doing that to my game i just bought ....id pull the pin on a grenade and tell him to catch..
HEY MAN i dont care who you are ....if you open a sealed package and play it for 1 day or 3 seconds...its a USED GAME...and i dont want it.....who cares if there are no finger prints or scratches the fact is it has been USED...so id expect a discount..if they do that with all games i think its BS...i feel bad for the employees whos managers are standing right next to them and then they have to try to sell you more stuff...but the manager isnt standing right next to them EVERY SINGLE TIME...i mean sure ask me once and if i say no thanks then shut the hell up...if customers want to know how a game is then funcoland or gamespot SHOULD set up the customer in a game booth with the game so they can evaluate it..isnt that what theyre supposed to do anyways????? anyways whatever ppl were saying before still doesnt change the face that every time i go in there i get the feeling like im about to get SCREWED in the ass..so im just not gonna go back...i dont expect much ..if i have a question ill ask ...if i ask if they have anymore bullcrap like a cleaning kit so i can waste my money ill ask for one...if i want a subscription for whatever id ask for one...just shut the hell up and let me shop and get off my case (to all annyoing employees)....its BS and it drives customers away!!!
There should be something done about this crap....i agree with the used car analogy...because its the same thing....its a CRIME...u can't claim a used product as NEW...and sell it as NEW..its illegal...there should be an investigation done....SOMEONE NEEDS TO BURRY THESE BASTARDS
