The temperature of the water is about 70°C. with 420 mg of chloride per litre and sulphide content is three times more than tap water. Some people believe the hot spring water can cure ailments like rheumatism and arthritis, as well as skin conditions like acne and psoriasis. It was reopened on 1 May 2002, with drainage pipes added to the springs. The hot springs remain open to visitors between 7:00 am. and 7:00 pm.
