One of the last sidequests before our low level party dares to tresspass the Black Omen.

This sidequest gives Robo his two best weapons - Terra and Crisis Arm, both of which will be very useful, as well as a couple of tabs. During this sidequests Robo also receives a permanent boost in speed (+3) and magic defence (+10). I also gave him all the speed tabs I had and he is now just as fast as the other guys. Yay!

The battle against the Mother Brain is not a tough one, due to our shadow absorbing armour (on Crono and Robo), however, I could've made it easier by:

a) having Ayla fight instead of Frog and use her Boogie technique to stop the healing altogether, which would make it rather boring.
b) giving Frog another Black Mail - and I actually realized I had forgotten to charm one from Son of Sun (I could have sworn I charmed one, but my inventory tends to disagree :( ).

This battle is therefore a race between our attacks and panel's healing. If the third panel is killed, she will begin to spam very powerful, non-absorbable moves which my party simply can not handle knowing her frequency of attacking, so we should cope with the healing while using our strongest techs.

I started by using a triple tech (although I am having suspicions having each character attack on his own would have proved better in the long run but whatever; triple techs are flashy and thus should be used more often), and then kept attacking normally with Crono (who was given a Hit Ring to drastically increase his awful hit rate), Uzzi Punching with Robo and Leap Slashing with Frog. Frog hasn't got any elemental proof, so he heals himself with Cure 2 once in this battle.

Pretty safe, really.
