The first thing is to measure the animal from shoulders to the floor and that's how big the door needs to be also with weight contributing. There needs to be a security feature so that the door is not open all of the times, there is a way to close the door so nothing can get in. There is also carpet connected to the door that goes on the inside of the house so the animal can wipe their paws off before running muddy throughout the house.
