Obstruction of vision & unsigned registration

On June 28th of 2007, I was stopped by Trooper Warnick and given tickets for
having my later father's String ties hanging from my mirror, and for
not having my up to date registration signed.
I had no knowledge that I was in violation for the string ties and being that I have a truck and two
cars, I forgot to sign one registration card. What is very troubling about the ticket, is that had I not had the card
on me or lied and said that I didn't I would have been given 5 days to produce it. Then someone on a tax payers
salary would undo the ticket later on. I produced my ASAP and was not given 5 seconds to sign it.
As for the string ties on the mirror, I understand that any object blocking a window adds an element of risk.
Whether it is measurable or not I have yet to see any figures. But I respect this law now that I know about it and have given
out over 1000 warning notices, had 6 letters published warning people and have been on an Elmira TV station talking about the
warning signs that I put out on Route Six. I doubt that anyone has done more to educate the public about this law than I
and if such a practice is dangerous, I have made it a safer world.
What worries me is that I was both audio and video recorded from the beginning of the stop and only found out about the Audio segment
near the conclusion of the stop. What bother's me is that the trooper never offered me a pen to sign my registration.
i asked permission to sign my registration first before signing the ticket with his pen.

It is important to not that in October 2006, a Jessica Wulff crossed a continuous double yellow line, crossed the on coming lane
and went off the road, slamming into both my neighbor's and my mail box and knocking them down. In the process she left
her mirror. She "hit and ran". About the 6 months later, the police caught her and she was find with
one charge of destruction of private property. No charges of careless driving , leaving the scene of an accident,
eluding police who she knew were looking for her. For all of this she got fined about 390 dollars. My fine will be close to 200
for what!!!
Because the officer on the scene,(not Warnick) did not take an interest on the only piece of evidence linking her to the scene of the accident
I was force to research this on the Internet and discovered the year and model of the Toyota. I complained to the
State Police that I had to do their work and that the report the newspaper was delayed, making it more difficult
to catch the person. I have no idea how they eventually caught her. Leaving the scene of an accident could get you up to 90 days
in jail. Obviously the State Police gave this young thing a break. Obviously the State Police did not give me
a break. I sense the reason why I did not get any break was because it was pay back time. I can't prove it and it is
only a suspicion. But for the trooper to be so obsessed to give me two tickets for some very innocuous things
and forget to tell me that he was recording my voice makes it seem to me that he was enjoying what he was doing too much.
When you record someone's voice without their knowledge and with out approval from a judge it is covered under
Pennsylvania's tough wire tapping laws. By not telling me that I was being recorded from the outset, I believe
he may have been breaking that law.

In general with little exception I support the police and have help to raise thousands of dollars for the Long Hill Explorers Post
over the years. I do my best to stay within the speed limits and try to obey the law. I have taken all objects
my car's mirrors and windows. Including a K-9 support sticker on my rear window. So the trooper knew I support our local police when he ticketed me.
No I believe the trooper was on a mission. But now I am on a mission of educating as many as I can not to give the police ANY reason to pull you over
and to take everything , and I mean everything , off the dash board, rear deck, all windows and mirrors.
that means no compass on the window. No license plate frames. Already I see less and less people in the area
breaking the law thanks to my efforts. I feel good about that.So in a sense Trooper Warnick picked the right person
to ticket. Without the ticket I would not be warning my fellow citizens. Had someone prior to me took such a stand,
I would never had gotten this ticket. My court date is Aug 3, 2007 1:45 PM in Townada, Pa.
