He is a stock broker and is a millionair now...one day he sees himself in a dream, supporting a family of four, is happily married to the woman he left long ago for persuing some career opportunity and went to London...Although it was a dream...but nothing was so real before...he experiences how the other half of the population lives...but finds that it is what the real life is...the real living is...when he comes out of the dream...he finds her again and discovers that time has brought them on the similar position....she is about to leave to settle in Paris for her work.....its the last scenario of the movie where he xplains what he saw...and what he believes to be the actual purpose of life.....although when in the beginning she tried the same...he left her for his career.............its a great movie...it teaches a lesson that most of the life happens when all a man thinks is to make it better in future......no matter how well u plan ur life, life always has a plan for u......so whenever that inituitive nudge from within is there...whenever a chance is there......don't delay...don't second guess......act!!
