a vid i did. digimon savers with pokemon spurt. I HATE pokemon but I do enjoy the music. this is one of those im board things. No time/effort was really put into this (it took me about 30mins or less to do). but it was still fun to make.
Many wonder why i hate pokemon well,
Oh Goody a topic i can rant on and on about. OK, here i go.
First off pokemon is seriously overrated. OK I just don't see nothing in pokemon now. Where do i start... So much to say.
I'll start with the anime.
When it all Begin ash/satoshi or whatever his Japanese name is, Wanted to be a pokmon master it was good at first but when we got about 15 eps or so into the orange islands it just got flat out repetitive. nothing changes in the story line. pokmon is a perfect lil' world with no real problems. Ash's biggest problem or let down in life is loosing ONE Pokemon battle. how dumb is that. I mean, he's never gonna be a Pokemon master because Nintendo screws the poor kid over by adding like 250 more each year. Their's no real darkness in Pokemon ether. team rocket? They aren't much to fear anymore now in days. Theirs no real plot ether. "COME ON EVERYBODY Lets go around and collect the badges" got rather boaring like over 6 seasons ago. It's just way to light hearted for me. The battles aren't intense like in the original season one. they look pretty sloppy now. To me Pokemon don't show any real quality's of emotions anymore. How much of a Friend is ash to pikachu if he ONLY uses him to battle for BADGES. No real meaning behind that. On top of that Pokemon has Nintendo to back them up and we all know how rich Nintendo is.
And now onto the monster design.
the new Pokemon of diamond and pearl are starting to just get super uncreative (dont try to argu that point because you will back your-self into a VERY DEEP corner). they look a big mess too. http://www.serebii.net/diamondpearl/newpokes.shtml
Most of them look like they are baby forms of older ones. and the ones are supposed to be evolved forms of any older ones just totaly screws up the character. most of them look chunky and super over weight and appear to be drawn out of proportion. The only cool lookin one up their is Lucario. IMO they should have just stoped at the first 250. the gold/silver ones were OK but the ruby/saphire ones were just terrible. the quality of monster design is going down each year that passes by.
and on to the games. to be honest if you played one you technically played them all (referring to the GBA/ds rpgs). Yeah, new maps, pokemon, battle modes, and items but the heart of the game still remains the same. Rather repetitive in my eyes.
Overall Digimon is just so much better. the anime has actual PLOT, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, BETTER MONSTER DESIGN etc... In the pokemon ANMIE (not movies) how many people do you see die? or real sacrifices being made? How many real problems or internall struggles/feelings. Digimon has more worldly problems to relate to. Killing,greed,LUST (oh gosh, ewww i will never 4get that CREEPY ep),pride, revenge,overcoming fears & recoving from bad mistakes to walk on 4 the sake of becoming a better person in life.
I can go on more but i think i'll stop here... FOR NOW
I'm just tired of seeing Pokemon (PIKACHU) everywere. it's came and now it's time for it to go. you know the old saying "what goes up must come down".
for people who don't like digimon i reccomend tryimg out savers. It has lots of good stories and planty of action and cliff hangers to keep you hooked. to be honest ep. 25 on up are the best ones. IMO
