The cost of owning a vehicle goes beyond the purchase price. Expenses like insurance and maintenance can add up also. What really doesn't make sense is that car company's are still producing vehicles with large engines which still use large amounts of gasoline. Who in there right mind in today's economy, is going to purchase a vehicle that doesn't get more than 30 miles to the gallon of gasoline is beyond me.
