Magnetic Metals Corporation has been a pioneer of magnetic components since the Company's founding. The success of the Magnetic Metals Corporation is based on team involvement with our customers' engineers in all aspects of magnetic circuit applications, from initial design concepts through material selection, fabrication and metallurgical processing. For additional information our engineers are available to assist you with your designs to insure improved efficiency and reduce size and costs.

In 1942 the first plant was established in Camden, New Jersey, manufacturing high-grade nickel alloy laminations. Additional facilities were established in California and Arizona.

Magnetic Metals provides materials, components and assemblies, precision transformer and motor laminations in NiFe and CoFe steels, toroidal and cut cores, DG (distributed gap cores), GFCI, ALCI, arc detection and advanced assembled products are available in standard and special shapes.

New magnetic materials are now available with amorphous or nanocrystalline® atomic structure. They give the opportunity to tailor soft magnetic properties, especially high frequency and pulse applications.

Magnetic cores in the form of tape wound, toroidal or rectangular and cut cores are now available.

Amorphous Cores (Namglass 1 - Magnetic Metals Code 9101 for tape cores, MMG for cut cores) Nanocrystalline® Cores (Namglass 4 - Magnetic Metals Code 9001 for tape cores, MMN for cut cores) are now available with high permeability approaching that of supermalloy at low frequencies and with high permeability at high frequencies above 10kHz.

For pulse applications these cores are made with the insulating Namlite coating which drastically improves the performance in ultra short, high voltage pulse applications.

The policy of Magnetic Metals Corporation is to design, produce and deliver products that will meet or exceed our customers' requirements. Our goal is to set the standard of excellence in our industry and to earn the respect of our customers and our competitors through the application of world-class business and manufacturing principles.
