Introduction to Remote Computer Support
Remote Computer Support is changing the way we think about how we get our computers repaired. So why aren't you using Remote Computer Support? Are you unfamiliar with this service? Are you untrusting of this service? In my experience most computer problems are software related, this means that in almost all cases your machine does not need to be physically "touch" by a Technician. So lugging the computer down to an expensive shop where a stranger will do what ever to you computer should be unthinkable? With gas prices skyrocketing, and the world thinking green, having a Geek show up at your door is environmentally unfriendly and costly to you because you pay for the geeks cost of travel and time and he hasn't even started to fix your computer.
Remote Computer Support
As long as your PC is bootable and able to get on the internet; I can provide many of my services remotely. That saves me travel time, which also saves you $. It works like this:
1. Download the (click blue lettering to download) TeamViewerQS program from the TeamViewer website, making sure you saves it to a place where you'll be able to run it. I recommend saving it to your Desktop.
2. I'll call you when it's time to work on your PC.
3. Double-click the TeamViewerQS.exe file you downloaded previously to run it.
4. A box will open showing an ID and password. Let me know what both of those are so I can enter them on my side to connect to your PC.
5. A window will open on my pc that is exactly what you see on your computer monitor. I can move your mouse, type on your screen and transfer files to your PC. I can remotely do just about everything you can do locally.
6. Once I'm connected, I don't need to keep you on the phone unless you have questions. I may have to call you back if I have questions or need you to reboot your PC. I'll definitely call at least once to let you know when I'm finished and check if everything is completed to your satisfaction.
7. I will let you know what your final charge is and email a bill in PDF format detailing the work performed.
8. Payment can be made online via credit card or by mailing a check.
