Making Ends Meet (1942)
Produced by: The Dairy Council of St. Louis
Aimed to demonstrate the value of inexpensive meals, saving in food buying and the importance of milk in the diet, as suggestions for adequate nutrition under the war-time national nutrition program, Making Ends Meet show us in full color moments and scenes of the 1940ies wartime daily life (and food) of the average American housewife and her family. Film is silent probably because, during public projections in schools and working places, it was commented live by a speaker.
Calling fair use for the soundtrack, performed by Rosllow, added in 2008 by ROMANO-ARCHIVES.
Editing by ROMANO-ARCHIVES.
